For Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce sellers outside the EU
Your EU orders now cost €3 per item type. Product IDs become mandatory on 1 November.
Drop in your product export. In a few seconds you get suggested HS codes (anything it can't place is flagged), a file you can import straight back into Shopify, a list of what's missing for the new product ID rules, and what the duty actually costs you per order.
Your files are read in your browser and never uploaded anywhere.

What you get
Suggested HS codes
Suggested from your titles, product types, tags and materials, covering the things small shops actually sell: apparel, jewellery, prints, candles, ceramics, bags, toys, cosmetics and more. Each one shows why it was picked and how sure it is, and you can edit any code before you download.
Shopify import file
A ready-made CSV in the exact format Shopify's Duties and import taxes → Product information → Update with CSV screen expects, with HS codes and country of origin filled in for every variant.
Product ID check for 1 November
From 1 November 2026 EU declarations need a merchant product ID, a manufacturer ID, and a GTIN/EAN when one exists. We flag missing and duplicate SKUs, invalid barcodes, and which products need the "no standard ID" code.
Your real duty bill
Upload your orders and see how many EU parcels fall under €150, what the €3 per-line duty adds up to, and a per-order amount to charge so your margin doesn't quietly shrink.

- Since 1 July 2026 the EU charges a flat €3 customs duty on low-value parcels (€150 or less) sold to EU consumers from outside the EU. Before that, these parcels paid VAT but no duty.
- It's per item type, not per parcel. Goods with the same tariff classification count as one item. Five identical T-shirts cost €3; a T-shirt, a mug and a print cost €9. In practice it is charged per customs declaration line, so how your carrier groups lines matters.
- It applies whether or not you use IOSS. IOSS covers VAT only. Without duties collected at checkout, your customer pays at the door, often with a carrier handling fee on top.
- From 1 November 2026 product identifiers become mandatory on these declarations: your SKU, a manufacturer reference, and a GTIN/EAN where one exists (or a code saying there isn't one).
- It's temporary, then it gets stricter. The €3 duty is set to run until 1 July 2028, when normal duty rates by tariff code take over. Accurate HS codes now save you a second clean-up later.
- An EU handling fee is still being negotiated and may be added on top.

Questions
Are the HS codes guaranteed to be right?
No tool can guarantee that, including the expensive ones. DutyReady gives a sensible six-digit starting point with its reasoning and a confidence level, flags products it can't place, and lets you edit before export. For anything high-value or unusual, check the EU's TARIC database or ask your carrier or a customs broker.
Do you see my store data?
No. The files are read by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account.
I'm on Etsy, not Shopify. Is it useful?
Yes. You get HS codes, the product ID check and the duty estimate, plus a review spreadsheet to copy codes into your shipping labels or label software. The Shopify import file is only for Shopify.
Does Shopify Managed Markets already do this?
If you use Managed Markets, Shopify collects the duty at checkout, but your products still need correct HS codes, countries of origin and product IDs. That data is what DutyReady fills in.
What if I need a refund?
If it doesn't work with your export, reply to your receipt within 14 days for a full refund.
